We Have A Home!!

That's right, today we signed on our new home! It has been a great experience getting to know our neighbors and working on each others houses. Just four months after we began, we are finished. The girls were really excited to arrive at their new house, and ran around yelling, Whooo whoo.. They helped us pull up the plastic that was there to protect our carpet from all the workers, and we ran around kicking the plastic balls. We had a pizza picnic in the living room, and moved a few of our fragile stuff, and called it a night. I can't wait until the move is over, and we are finally settled in.

Everything, and anything

Ben is five months old, and is really strong. He loves to stand, and prefers to sit up, he wiggles, giggles, reaches for toys and plays with his sisters. He is a blessing to this house. He has been enjoying our swimming pool, although he is still a little unsure. We are so busy, I am not sure we even have time to breathe. The house is going really good, kitchen counters, and bathrooms are in, we have flooring, and sinks and toilets. Carpets are going in the next two weeks, and than backsplashes. We are hoping to be done by the end of juy! We will see.....

things are okay, how are you

Oh, our lives are oh soo busy!

Well heres a lame attempt to catch up with everything going on in our lives. the house is going good and we are just holding our breath and treading water waiting for everything to go through and for the papers to finally sign. Benjamin is growing like a weed, and is excited to talk and interact with his environment.
We all are doing okay but this busy, schedule is really starting to have an affect on all of us.

baby Einstein

Ben is trying to roll over these days. He also can see an object, grab it and bring it to his mouth.. Very advanced!! He is a good baby, with very few things so far that I can't seem to satisfy or take care of. Thats nice because sometimes with babies is so hard to know what they want or need. He is such a mommas boy and even though he is getting used to be being gone twice a week right now I can always tell that he misses me when I get home. HE also has special loving mommy smiles!! I don't know how I would get through my days with out those little bits of love.. Angel kisses!!

Siding going up.......

Well heres our updated photo of our new house. The siding is going up and I think the color is so cute. !! WE plan to hopefully paint our door navy blue, and get some shutters. Wouldn't that be nice. We are dreaming about where everyone will go and what we will so with so much extra space.... Whatever will we do!!
Sierra keeps saying that her new house is so small.. and Aaliyah keeps telling everyone that her new house is being built-- of course no one can understand her because she still have her quite, baby voice, and some baby talk.

Things are busy............

Hey well its been really busy the last week since I have talked to you all, and in that time period we have done alot on the houses in our build. The first three houses are sheet rocked, and the fourth house we finished insulating on saturday. The painter is going to come this next week to texture and paint the first two or three houses. The last two will be finished with sidding this next week. We are the last house!! Yeah.. in the mean time sierra has strep throat and I am hoping that aaliyah does not get it.... Melinie....me.... has got this thing with my ears that causes me to be really dizzy, and can't walk or move my head.. so thats nice... Jesse is exhausted and hasn't had a day off in the last month... We are really hold on, and looking at the prize....

I regret to inform you!

Well in an effort to beable to financially afford this new house, we are cutting back on all things that are non essential. Our internet is one of the things that we will have to live without for now. We will try to keep posting on this blog, but there might be days that we miss. We love all our invisible supporters and appreciate all your love and support.

swinging with mommy!

Benjamin enjoyed his first ride on a swing at the park. He is such a sweet happy baby. He is the sparkle is his mommies eye. Actually with three children I praise God that Ben starts out as a baby, because I am sure I would not survive a two year old or four year old right away.
Summer is coming,and we are excited for days spent at the park, going on walks, and camping out in the livingroom. We will be just as busy with work, and trying to make family time and friend time. Pray for us all you invisible viewers....

Happy birthday to you!!!

We celebrated Isaiah C. Birthday on Saturday! He is turning 3 on the 4th. I can't believe how time flies, I mean we met Alex and Alicia when they were pregnant with Isaiah. We have been around for the birth of their last two sons, and they have been around for our last two children. It such a blessing having friends to share our lives with.

How exciting!!

The kids and I took daddy lunch today, because he was working on our house, and our neighbors house. We are so excited about the progress of our house, and we are thrilled that the time will be coming shortly... When we don't know, they say that we will be in no later than November 27, I think end of July beginning of Aug... We will see!!! On wednesday when I was working, I got there early so i could check the progress of our house, and started crying! (What a girl!!) Anyhow, I was just so excited that the house is moving right along and it had begun to really take shape. My neighbor took some pics for me, so i will probably post those at a later date however, my house was not enclosed, there were lots of supports, no roof, etc... As you can see as of today... our house house windows, the beginnings of a roof, and will have a door by the end of the weekend so it can be locked up.
Out of the five houses, two have sheet rock, the third is almost ready for sheet rock. WE only have the last two to insulate, tyveck, and paint, and then we will be painting walls, setting back splashes, and nailing up molding, laying sod....

getting bigger...

our married life group has four babies all born with in a few months, some weeks of each other, and we are expecting 2 more babies in the next few months. I hope to get a cute pic of all the babies soon.. wouldn't that be great? You know of course baby ben, and the other cutie is jorydan(sorry don't know on the spelling) they are 3 months old!

Going Walking.......

the kids and I have been walking alot these days with various girlfriends trying to get fresh air and our exercise. The girls do okay, and ben does pretty good... Ben fits snug in his little bed behind the girls!! I was so thrilled that he fit there because with three kiddos what else was I to do except to perhaps carry him in the snuggly and we walk any where fr0m 3 miles, to 6 miles...

Melinie had the opportunity to take some pictures of the kids on Easter, and we just got some of the black and whites developed. This is one of my favorites. I think it is adorable how the girls are looking down at Ben, and he's just looking like, "What?" That's my boy ;^)

Hide and Seek???

This is the status of our house as of about a week and a half ago. I think somebody needs to tell those guys that it's not exactly ready to play hide and seek in! On Sunday when I was there the basement was framed in as well as the floor joists for the second floor. I bet by the time I get back this weekend, they will just about have the roof on! We will get some more pictures up of the property this weekend.

Depending on how much time you have spent with the girls at home , you may or may not know this. However my girls are always playing dress up, and usually are in between new outfits. What little cuties!!

Well last night was our family nite, and I made pizza and popcorn for dinner, and we rented a movie. The girls were pretty thrilled!! It was fun to be silly, let our hair down and make a mess. The only problem was that daddy was gone! WE really missed him...

Sundays Missing post....

I found it.. ha ha I am trying to play catch up a little bit. Heres a video of some friends of ours dedicating their whole family to the lord. Their baby girl is only 5 days older than Ben, and they are an important part of our married life group.

Baby Benjamins Bed

Faced with the dilemma that benjamin's bed is placed right under the air conditioner I set to work making him a canopy that would sure as a barrier between the cold air. I started with fabric that I saved from Sierra's canopy, dyed it blue, and than got the white and brown so that it would match the color scheme we are going to do for his new room, in our new house. TaDa!!

Hum..

There seems to be something wrong with blogger because it won't let me upload a photo however I went and worked on the houses today, and took a photo of the progress of my house. The basement is framed... WE are so excited!!

Ok so....

YEah so, I realize that its Tuesday now, and we haven't posted anything since Saturday, however we have been crazy busy with building our house, and Jesse is gone this week working, hopefully he will come home Thursday night because he is leaving again on Friday morning to go to las Vegas for work. I have to work wednesday (5pm-9pm), saturday 8am-5pm and probably sunday 12pm-5pm depending on when jesse gets back... and than the week starts over.. yahwhoo!!!

Working at last!!

Well today was our first day working on our house-- well the houses in this phase. Today we set and placed all the windows, wrapped the houses, and did scrapping, and cleaning. It was raining the last 4 hours, so jesse and everyone except me was outside so they were muddy and soaked. See those windows? Yeah we put those there :-)There was seven people today, and we were a pretty good team! I spent the whole day sweeping, clearing and removing all wood scrapes from three of the five houses. It was fun to caulk the windows and screw them into the house. We were trying to secure the houses because the electricians are coming in on Monday to do those houses, and wiring is something that is easily stolen. It was a nice day, and the girls are really excited. Our neighbors, are really nice so thats cool. hopefully this will work out all the way to the end.

Were next!!

Well we start working tomorrow, and we found out that we only have 5 houses in our build group, which we are hoping that means we will get finished much quicker! Yeah.... We are going to be framed for reals this time this next week.

Our little Sweety pies!!

Aaliyah has a hard time sleeping by her self, and usually frequents our bed nightly, if not three or more times. (we usually put her back in her bed). I woke up monday morning with her sleeping on my chest, because ben was sleeping between us, and I was too tired toget up and take her to bed. She is a great snuggler, and wakes up all smiles when she is in mommy and daddies bed. When she comes to our room in the middle of the night, she usually whispers "mommy, mommy, I need your, or I want you". Its so cute to me, and I am a pretty big push over. She couldn't sleep tonight, and jesse and I were still up watching tv so i told her to sleep with her sister. I am not sure how sierra will like a bed partner but aaliyah seems to like it.

Little House

Tonight Melinie and I had an opportunity (read, required meeting) to go meet all our new neighbors. We had our first builders group meeting in preparation for starting to build our set of homes this weekend. We had some great news also, that we will only be building five houses in our build instead of the previously planned ten! So, we should be able to move in a lot sooner than we were originally thinking. Although, the building committee is still saying by Thanksgiving, they made it pretty obvious it would be sooner. We also picked our siding type and color, and roof color today. We are really excited to get started in the process and getting to know our soon to be new neighbors. This pic is just one of the little models that somebody put together for the meeting, but isn't what our house will really look like.

Boys!!

Well my girlfriend Alicia has three handsome boys, and since we have similar taste in clothing I was not at all surprised to find out that she got her youngest son Elisha the same outfit that I got Benjamin. Lucky for us my camera was in my diaper bag so we took advantage of the situation and took some quick pics.
I am so thankful for friends and their kids. What a blessing to have couples that we can share out lives with and childhood friends for our kids.

Happy Easter!!

I took the opportunity that i had this morning to take my kids and do a photo shoot. They were all dressed up in their easter clothes, and the light was pretty even this morning! I love photo shoots!! It was especially nice this morning because mom stopped by between services and she got to go along. It was nice to have that extra pair of hands. Aaliyah was crying by like picture 7 of her, what a little um... silly. Benjamin was looking good, but still a little wary of this whole picture taking thing. Sierra true to form was willing to strike a pose for her momma. I took several rolls so i hope i got something really good... I hope you all had a good easter! Halo!

This picture makes smile because it reminds me of all the married life nights that the guys stood there playing halo and halo 2. We probably spent a year and half of our married life meetings with the girls chatting and the guys playing xbox. I think its so funny that they would play standing up, it looks like they are peeing.. ha ha!!

Oldest......

my older brother sheaden is graduating from Life Bible in California may 12th and recently has accepted a senior pastor position in nevada. Wow i can't hardly wrap my mind around it, i mean sheaden and I were pretty close growing up, and we share a lot of our hopes and dreams with each other, but I never would have guessed that our lives would take up along the paths that we are on.. I bet he's a little nervous, I know that I would be. His wife has been wonderfully supportive of him and moving, which is such a blessing! I can't wait to visit my brother and go to his church.. Thats so weird!!

Home from Thai Land !

Grandma C. went on her first missions trip and went international. What an experience! sounds like she had a great time, and got to see and witness some really great things. The girls and I got some balloons, and a teddy bear and met her at the airport. Uncle luke was there too. It was fun taking them to the airport, it reminded me of my childhood excitement to go on vacation and I can't wait to take my children on vacation.

Baby's are the best judge of character

Someone once told me that baby's and children are great judges of character. That if your child didn't like or had a strong reaction to someone that I should really stop and question why. Well today Benjamin really favored his daddy- perhaps it was the several extra hours of quality time he spent with his daddy last night while mommy was out with a girl friend. Or it was something else entirely however he cried and fussed for several hours, and right after dinner, during dinner actually when daddy took him so mommy could finish he fell peaceably asleep like a little angel.

Grandpa and the boy!!

Ben and grandpa were very close this last weekend. Grandpa is so cute and would always say that he needs to hold "the boy" cause mommy gets to hold him all the time. Benjamin seemed to really like his grandpa and would sit or sleep happily in his arms. When I was watching these two interact it really struck me how happy I was to have had a boy. Jesse told me before we got pregnant with ben that he was happy with two girls, but there was apart of me that felt like i hadn't given him everything, you everything that a man needed. Jesse is the only boy in his family, and I wanted the Sam weaver name to be carried on.... I praise God that he heard my hearts cry and gave us that son.. Thank you

Mobile One

Hey, this is my first mobile post!

Well, that was my first mobile post anyways, but I am not too sure if you can send a picture through the mobile post interface. Hopefully google will figure something out to make that work better. Anyways, this last weekend we headed out to Yakima to hang out with my family a little bit, and celebrate my mom's birthday. It was very nice seeing everybody, and we had a great time....other than the trip there anyways. Kids will be kids, and our 3 hour trip according to google maps turned into a 5 1/2 hour trip! Bah. However our extended period in the car did afford us the chance to snap a pic of our little Ben looking pretty happy with life, which of course makes his momma and me, well, pretty happy with life.

Fun Times!

We went to grandma and grandpa weavers house this past weekend, and had a great time with the family. The girls got to play with their cousins on the farm! They also got to paint easter eggs, play softball, build a fire and roast hotdogs and much much more. Aaliyah was so warn out from playing all day saturday she feel asleep in grandmas arms in the middle of church. WOW

Helping Mommy!

Benjamin loves to sit in his sissy's pink princess chair and watch mommy clean the girlies room. Today he was in a particularily good mood! He is such a happy little guy, and he is man enough for pink. ( LOL)

Ben and his girlfriend !!

This little cutie with Benjamin is only five days older than him, and her name is Jordyn. She was born to our friends Amy and Terry!! We are so blessed to not only have good friends but to have those friends while our children are young, so hopefully they will all grow up together

No where fast...

You may or may not beable to tell however a few things have been done to our house. the sewage and I think water has been put in, and the builders are slowly working there way our way. They are working on house number two now, and we are number seven of ten.

Ben is so seriously cute

Much to my disappointment I think ben is not going to be a poser, I just hope be begins to like his picture taken, I mean with a mommy like me he better like it or toughen up. He smiles, and laughs, and love peek a boo. HE likes to sit up and look all around! He loves his mommy!!

Did you know that the best times for outdoor photo shoots are around 5am, and than after 4pm? Well this was in the middle of the day, when the sun was in the wrong position. oh well!!

It looks like they are just about ready to start the framing on our house pretty soon. Just down the street on some of the other houses on our build they have almost all the framing done allready!

A lot has happened today! I thought it warranted two pictures

Toilet...... clog....... yikes!!

Well our toilet was clogging so we called one of our new friends Ben to ask him what kind of plumming snake to buy, and he was kind enough to offer to come over and help trouble shoot the problem. He spent the whole night over at our place, and after several trips to Home Depot we have a shiny new toilet. We really really appreciated that Ben was willing to come and help its nice to have good friends.

well we reached the 8 week mark this week, I can't believe how fast babies grow. Benjamin is so cute, and his smile is quick and at times he will smile like he is shy or embarrassed. I can't wait to see what his personality will be like! When i did this quick little video, i couldn't believe how much i love working with video and seeing that end product.. There will be more videos to follow..

Ok, ok....

I realize that this is another picture of sierra, but i just got film developed from two years ago and can't help my self. She is so darn cute. One thing about my girls that you may or may not know is that they are very dramatic! Things affect them in ways that you and I could never understand. I will try to get picture of Benjamin smiling for tomorrows picture.

I was looking at old pictures and found this one of sierra. Isn't she a cutie... I can't believe that i already forget what she looked like when she was a baby...

Childhood friends....

We tried to get all out kids together to take a picture but as you can see we have several toddlers and they are busy. These kids have mostly grown up together. Jacob coffey is the oldest in this picture I think, and when we moved back from seattle he was probably 6 months old and sierra was not born yet. we have increased in numbers in our group now and usually have 12-16 kids when we all get together. We love our friends!!

Goodbye's

Well, tonight was the first of a few of the goodbye's we have to have this year. Our friends Ryan and Kelly Coffee and their two kids Jacob and Claire are moving off to Texas. Ryan has been offered the position of Senior Pastor at a church in San Antonio, so this is hopefully going to be a great opportunity and experience for them. We have had some great times with them, and we are sad to see them go. We will miss you guys, and we wish you the best!

I had a stop up on the Northside today, so I figured I would run by the property again since I was up there. What you witness here is my finest photographic capabilities while trying to perch myself as high as possible on my work rig, hold the camera up above my head for additional height, and Snap! Masterpiece if I do say so myself....well at least it looks kinda level. Word.
