Oh the times....

Well time continues to fly by, and each day runs into weeks, and week turn into months. We have been in our new home for almost 6 months already. Benjamin is 13 months old, walking, talking and throwing fits. His personality is starting to shine and he truely lights up my day. Aaliyah is 3.5 and is growing and changing. Its funny when it finally clicks in a little child head that they can try to reason around mommy, and perhaps win a conversation. She says things that make me laugh, and is so tender sometimes It makes me cry. She is learning the finner art of war, with her sister and is finally starting to fight back a bit. She is totally a mommies girl though and loves to snuggle. Actually her great ammo against me is when she is supposed to be in bed, and she comes to where ever I am and says " um, mommy. I just love you and I want to um just snuggle" as she cuddles up into my lap and conforms to what ever position i am sitting. Its hard to resist that sweet little face.
Sierra is 5.5 and is learning and growing fast. She is very excited about school and can't wait to be learning more. she is developing her relating skills and i am knee deep in trying to learn the best way to show her love and all my children. We can't wait for summer, and really can't wait to build a fence for our back yard.

Ben and his girlfriend !!

This little cutie with Benjamin is only five days older than him, and her name is Jordyn. She was born to our friends Amy and Terry!! We are so blessed to not only have good friends but to have those friends while our children are young, so hopefully they will all grow up together

With certainity....

There are so very few things in life that I can say with certainty it won't change, actually only two that I can think of. The first being that God will never change, his character will always remain the same. and the second slightly less religionous is that the week will always start with Monday......... I hate monday!! There are no surprises, this week, next week, or a year from now monday will always come, and the week will always start over.

Benjamin's first visit to Kiddie Kandids

Benjamin is six weeks old now, and although i usually really like to get pictures taken of my kids at four weeks, I guess better late than never. ( Ha ha) He doesn't seem really happy to be there but i am sure in time he will be much smiler for now we will have to live with his too cool look..

Cutest Evaahr!

Yeah, thats my baby boy. I'm not quite sure what it is about this pic that I love so much, but he is just so cute. He looks like a little round faced michellin baby. Ben has been doing great, and is usually pretty happy except for a couple of hours in the evening when he gets a bit of an upset tummy. We sure love our little guy.

finally, a real outfit...

up until this point ben has been wearing classic newborn clothes, which mostly look like pj's to me, but today i ventured forward, and put on him an outfit that was a bit too big still but cute never the less. Although i am afraid that i will have to seek out cute boy clothes harder than i ever had to with the girls i am convinced that cute boy clothes do exist.

Baby Boy, Ben...

Well our boy just keeps growing, he was 20 3/4 inches long, and weights 9 lbs, 14 ounces. He is a pretty good baby and has been spending more time awake during the day.

Big Sister Aaliyah

Aaliyah is doing really good with the arrival of baby benjamin. At first she was excited, and than when we brought him home she was having mommy withdrawals, so she was feeling a little clingy, but didn't hardly notice Ben. Now she asks to hold him, and stops to talk to him every once and a while. Thank goodness !

An Announcement

Meet your nephew

Well today, my sister Anna got to meet Ben for the first time. Unfortunately, I was at work while she was in town so I didn't get to see her. I am glad you got to meet my baby boy though!

Mamma and Her Boy

A little alone time with Ben. Melinie is enjoying her new baby boy on his fourth day with us. He had his first checkup today, and everything looks great. Now we just need to learn how to live with our new five person family, both an adventure and a struggle.

Nappin Away

Hmmm, I think we may be developing a bit of a theme here. Well, tough for you. If you don't like looking at pictures of the cutest little boy in the world, you may want to go elsewhere for a little while! So, today is go home day, and we couldn't be happier. We get to take our new little guy to see his new home. Of course with an event like a first homecoming, there are bound to be more pictures over at the other site.

T Minus One

Alright people! This is it. We are going in to the hospital tomorrow morning at 6:00 am to have Melinie induced. By this time tomorrow we are going to have our third baby. We haven't found out if it is a boy or a girl, so we are pretty excited! We have had what the sex of the baby is in an envelope ever since our first ultrasound, so Melinie has done great making it this far. I wasn't sure if she was going to make it. So, come back tomorrow for our official announcement of baby Benjamin or Audrey.

A Little Baby Love

Well, we put the crib together for our soon to arrive baby, and Melinie just couldn't help herself. Since we aren't going to find out what we are having until the actual arrival, she put the bedding sets for a boy and a girl in there. So, there you have it, I had to get a picture of it.
