Happy birthday to you!!!

We celebrated Isaiah C. Birthday on Saturday! He is turning 3 on the 4th. I can't believe how time flies, I mean we met Alex and Alicia when they were pregnant with Isaiah. We have been around for the birth of their last two sons, and they have been around for our last two children. It such a blessing having friends to share our lives with.

How exciting!!

The kids and I took daddy lunch today, because he was working on our house, and our neighbors house. We are so excited about the progress of our house, and we are thrilled that the time will be coming shortly... When we don't know, they say that we will be in no later than November 27, I think end of July beginning of Aug... We will see!!! On wednesday when I was working, I got there early so i could check the progress of our house, and started crying! (What a girl!!) Anyhow, I was just so excited that the house is moving right along and it had begun to really take shape. My neighbor took some pics for me, so i will probably post those at a later date however, my house was not enclosed, there were lots of supports, no roof, etc... As you can see as of today... our house house windows, the beginnings of a roof, and will have a door by the end of the weekend so it can be locked up.
Out of the five houses, two have sheet rock, the third is almost ready for sheet rock. WE only have the last two to insulate, tyveck, and paint, and then we will be painting walls, setting back splashes, and nailing up molding, laying sod....

getting bigger...

our married life group has four babies all born with in a few months, some weeks of each other, and we are expecting 2 more babies in the next few months. I hope to get a cute pic of all the babies soon.. wouldn't that be great? You know of course baby ben, and the other cutie is jorydan(sorry don't know on the spelling) they are 3 months old!

Going Walking.......

the kids and I have been walking alot these days with various girlfriends trying to get fresh air and our exercise. The girls do okay, and ben does pretty good... Ben fits snug in his little bed behind the girls!! I was so thrilled that he fit there because with three kiddos what else was I to do except to perhaps carry him in the snuggly and we walk any where fr0m 3 miles, to 6 miles...

Melinie had the opportunity to take some pictures of the kids on Easter, and we just got some of the black and whites developed. This is one of my favorites. I think it is adorable how the girls are looking down at Ben, and he's just looking like, "What?" That's my boy ;^)

Hide and Seek???

This is the status of our house as of about a week and a half ago. I think somebody needs to tell those guys that it's not exactly ready to play hide and seek in! On Sunday when I was there the basement was framed in as well as the floor joists for the second floor. I bet by the time I get back this weekend, they will just about have the roof on! We will get some more pictures up of the property this weekend.

Depending on how much time you have spent with the girls at home , you may or may not know this. However my girls are always playing dress up, and usually are in between new outfits. What little cuties!!

My little angel...

Sweet baby boy getting cuter every day! Baby ben is changing and developing a cute little personality. I love it! He is friendly, and smiley-- he gives his momma adoring shy smiles. What a little blessing ! Thank You Jesus for giving us our little boy weaver

More to come...

Well last night was our family nite, and I made pizza and popcorn for dinner, and we rented a movie. The girls were pretty thrilled!! It was fun to be silly, let our hair down and make a mess. The only problem was that daddy was gone! WE really missed him...

Sundays Missing post....

I found it.. ha ha I am trying to play catch up a little bit. Heres a video of some friends of ours dedicating their whole family to the lord. Their baby girl is only 5 days older than Ben, and they are an important part of our married life group.

Baby Benjamins Bed

Faced with the dilemma that benjamin's bed is placed right under the air conditioner I set to work making him a canopy that would sure as a barrier between the cold air. I started with fabric that I saved from Sierra's canopy, dyed it blue, and than got the white and brown so that it would match the color scheme we are going to do for his new room, in our new house. TaDa!!

Hum..

There seems to be something wrong with blogger because it won't let me upload a photo however I went and worked on the houses today, and took a photo of the progress of my house. The basement is framed... WE are so excited!!

Ok so....

YEah so, I realize that its Tuesday now, and we haven't posted anything since Saturday, however we have been crazy busy with building our house, and Jesse is gone this week working, hopefully he will come home Thursday night because he is leaving again on Friday morning to go to las Vegas for work. I have to work wednesday (5pm-9pm), saturday 8am-5pm and probably sunday 12pm-5pm depending on when jesse gets back... and than the week starts over.. yahwhoo!!!

Working at last!!

Well today was our first day working on our house-- well the houses in this phase. Today we set and placed all the windows, wrapped the houses, and did scrapping, and cleaning. It was raining the last 4 hours, so jesse and everyone except me was outside so they were muddy and soaked. See those windows? Yeah we put those there :-)There was seven people today, and we were a pretty good team! I spent the whole day sweeping, clearing and removing all wood scrapes from three of the five houses. It was fun to caulk the windows and screw them into the house. We were trying to secure the houses because the electricians are coming in on Monday to do those houses, and wiring is something that is easily stolen. It was a nice day, and the girls are really excited. Our neighbors, are really nice so thats cool. hopefully this will work out all the way to the end.

Were next!!

Well we start working tomorrow, and we found out that we only have 5 houses in our build group, which we are hoping that means we will get finished much quicker! Yeah.... We are going to be framed for reals this time this next week.

Our little Sweety pies!!

Aaliyah has a hard time sleeping by her self, and usually frequents our bed nightly, if not three or more times. (we usually put her back in her bed). I woke up monday morning with her sleeping on my chest, because ben was sleeping between us, and I was too tired toget up and take her to bed. She is a great snuggler, and wakes up all smiles when she is in mommy and daddies bed. When she comes to our room in the middle of the night, she usually whispers "mommy, mommy, I need your, or I want you". Its so cute to me, and I am a pretty big push over. She couldn't sleep tonight, and jesse and I were still up watching tv so i told her to sleep with her sister. I am not sure how sierra will like a bed partner but aaliyah seems to like it.

Little House

Tonight Melinie and I had an opportunity (read, required meeting) to go meet all our new neighbors. We had our first builders group meeting in preparation for starting to build our set of homes this weekend. We had some great news also, that we will only be building five houses in our build instead of the previously planned ten! So, we should be able to move in a lot sooner than we were originally thinking. Although, the building committee is still saying by Thanksgiving, they made it pretty obvious it would be sooner. We also picked our siding type and color, and roof color today. We are really excited to get started in the process and getting to know our soon to be new neighbors. This pic is just one of the little models that somebody put together for the meeting, but isn't what our house will really look like.

Boys!!

Well my girlfriend Alicia has three handsome boys, and since we have similar taste in clothing I was not at all surprised to find out that she got her youngest son Elisha the same outfit that I got Benjamin. Lucky for us my camera was in my diaper bag so we took advantage of the situation and took some quick pics.
I am so thankful for friends and their kids. What a blessing to have couples that we can share out lives with and childhood friends for our kids.
