Ok, ok....

I realize that this is another picture of sierra, but i just got film developed from two years ago and can't help my self. She is so darn cute. One thing about my girls that you may or may not know is that they are very dramatic! Things affect them in ways that you and I could never understand. I will try to get picture of Benjamin smiling for tomorrows picture.

I was looking at old pictures and found this one of sierra. Isn't she a cutie... I can't believe that i already forget what she looked like when she was a baby...

Childhood friends....

We tried to get all out kids together to take a picture but as you can see we have several toddlers and they are busy. These kids have mostly grown up together. Jacob coffey is the oldest in this picture I think, and when we moved back from seattle he was probably 6 months old and sierra was not born yet. we have increased in numbers in our group now and usually have 12-16 kids when we all get together. We love our friends!!

Goodbye's

Well, tonight was the first of a few of the goodbye's we have to have this year. Our friends Ryan and Kelly Coffee and their two kids Jacob and Claire are moving off to Texas. Ryan has been offered the position of Senior Pastor at a church in San Antonio, so this is hopefully going to be a great opportunity and experience for them. We have had some great times with them, and we are sad to see them go. We will miss you guys, and we wish you the best!

I had a stop up on the Northside today, so I figured I would run by the property again since I was up there. What you witness here is my finest photographic capabilities while trying to perch myself as high as possible on my work rig, hold the camera up above my head for additional height, and Snap! Masterpiece if I do say so myself....well at least it looks kinda level. Word.

What is in a pet?

Since the excitement of our new house, the girls constantly talk about what pet they get to have. Sierra is convinced that she is old enough to have a dog or a cat because she will be almost five, and will have a big house all the prior prerequisites that mommy once laid out. I (mommy) scramble to find a new thing that must be fulfilled before this pet enters our life, but since jesse is such a dog lover, and has wanted a dog since we got married, I know that i am fighting a losing battle. Alas.....

Our House....Now

On Saturday, our little family decided to make another trip up to our new property where we will be building our house this summer. We are very excited to get into the process and meet all our new neighbors. This is going to be a great experience for us as a family both for having that great sense of fulfillment of owning our own home, but also having the experience of actually building our home ourselves! Keep an eye on the blog and us on your minds as we get into this new and exciting experience.

Whats in a Smile?

This is the best picture that i could get so far of ben's occasional smiles! he has started to interact with his environment, and will smile at mommy all the time, and others occasionally. he also makes really cute noises and sounds.

Finally we have the classic naked picture.... And if our son could say anything to you he would be saying with a boston accent. "hey what you looking at, yeah so I am naked whats it to ya?"

With certainity....

There are so very few things in life that I can say with certainty it won't change, actually only two that I can think of. The first being that God will never change, his character will always remain the same. and the second slightly less religionous is that the week will always start with Monday......... I hate monday!! There are no surprises, this week, next week, or a year from now monday will always come, and the week will always start over.

Benjamin is six weeks old now, and although i usually really like to get pictures taken of my kids at four weeks, I guess better late than never. ( Ha ha) He doesn't seem really happy to be there but i am sure in time he will be much smiler for now we will have to live with his too cool look..

This is a photograph of Sierra jumping on a trampoline that I created a mock vector image with. Or vice a versa maybe. Anyways, I have always really liked this image, and I hope to create a little better version some day to create a print of.

You're moving WHERE?!?

This is our friend Kenny and Krina Malgren. They are currently hangin out enjoying the good times at Hillsong in Australia. We miss you guys if you see this! Ok, we miss you even if you don't see this, but you know if you read it...well, you know. So our friend and Associate Pastor at the Boo Chap has announced that he is officially accepting the Senior Pastor position at a church in San Antonio stinkin Texas, and shortly after told us that Kenny and Krina are going to be moving there when they come back this July. Frick! Well, I guess we will just have to have some more "we miss you" posts a little later.

My first...

Everyone has to start somewhere! I found a tutorial that told me how to remove a background, and attempted to do just that with this picture, I think it turned out pretty well.. What do you think? Not everyone has the mad skills that Jesse has but hey whatever huh....
